Key Developer – Contract Role

We are seeking a Key Developer to support a risk reporting transformation project within the commodity trading domain. The role involves rebuilding legacy risk management applications using modern technologies and enhancing critical calculations and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Integrate with APIs to improve risk reporting
Optimize application performance
Design data models and databases for risk functionalities
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of 8–12 specialists
Participate in regular meetings with client managers and developers
Develop new features based on analyst and PO input
Take initiative in solving project challenges
Work autonomously with mature decision-making

Requirements:

Strong expertise in Python.Core and full stack development
Ability to quickly grasp trading risk management concepts
B2+ level English communication skills
Proactive, stress-resistant, and adaptable
Willingness to travel; onsite presence required
