At ClearRoute we work in a hybrid, flexible way, with two days a week onsite in our office in Farringdon where this role will be based from. Unfortunately we can not offer visa sponsorship for this role.

Role:

We are seeking an experienced Python Full Stack Developer with experience in Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and deploying scalable web applications using Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular) on the frontend.In addition to full-stack development, you’ll work with AI-driven components, including Agentic AI systems, LLM integrations, and automation services on Azure. You’ll be expected to build and optimize applications that handle large volumes of data, supporting both performance and intelligence at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Python for backend and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on Azure.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities — including Agentic AI, LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), and Azure Cognitive Services — into application workflows.
• Work with data-rich systems, optimizing data pipelines and backend processes for large-scale data handling and real-time processing.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging App Service, Functions, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and related services.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Circa 5 years of experience in Python, using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Frontend development experience using React or Angular.
• Ideally some proven experience deploying and maintaining applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with AI systems, Agentic AI workflows, or integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
