Overview:

A growing technology company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join its team. The organisation provides a cloud-based CTRM (Commodity Trading and Risk Management) software platform to trading firms, with live client deployments and plans for further expansion and partnerships. The platform is built and maintained primarily by a distributed development team.

The system manages the full trade lifecycle of futures and derivative transactions, supporting trade capture, pricing, live risk and P&L, and real-time position management. Risk management tools offer visibility into profit/loss and risk metrics across the business.

Core Tech Stack:

• Backend: C#, .NET Core
• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Terraform, Azure DevOps CI
• Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL/Timescale, MySQL, SignalR, RabbitMQ
• Protocols & APIs: REST APIs, FIX Protocol

Responsibilities:

As a senior member of the team, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle, supporting both technical and business goals. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, coding, testing, and deploying platform features
• Writing and maintaining unit tests
• Upholding and promoting best practices, coding standards, and documentation
• Managing platform quality, infrastructure, and release processes
• Providing support to colleagues and business users
• Focusing on security, scalability, maintainability, and future-proofing
• Supporting cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Working on feature development, refactoring, bug fixes, client customisations, and data mapping

Requirements:

• Strong technical background with experience collaborating with remote teams
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Self-organised, detail-oriented, and team-minded
• Desirable: Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Desirable: Understanding of derivatives, options, futures, and commodities trading
• Desirable: Familiarity with trading platforms such as ICE, CME, TT, and related data models/interfaces
