We’re seeking a developer who thrives on tackling complex challenges and turning them into elegant, scalable solutions. This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of industrial automation and modern software engineering, integrating real-time SCADA data into cloud-native applications that drive Industry 4.0 forward.

You’ll play a key role in designing, building and optimising systems that support essential industries such as water, wastewater and manufacturing. With Python/Django at the core, you’ll work across the stack; from Celery and Redis powering background tasks, through resilient APIs, to intuitive frontend components.

What you’ll be working on:

• Developing and maintaining scalable applications with Python/Django
• Integrating SCADA protocols such as OPC-UA and Modbus into the tech stack
• Building and managing REST APIs to connect systems and services
• Delivering frontend features with React (or similar)
• Collaborating with DevOps to streamline CI/CD and cloud deployments
• Ensuring security, resilience and high performance in every release

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of Python/Django experience
• Strong knowledge of Celery, Redis and relational databases
• Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and industrial protocols
• Familiarity with Docker, Linux and cloud-based deployments
• Solid grounding in frontend development with React, Vue or similar would be benfical
