Job Overview
Join our Technology Team as a Full-Stack Software Developer, where you’ll design, build, and maintain secure, end-to-end solutions supporting critical business and clinical systems. You’ll work across the full stack—developing responsive web applications, robust back-end services, and data processes that transform and present information in clear, user-friendly formats.
You’ll help deliver scalable applications and integrations connecting enterprise platforms and identity systems. This includes building RESTful APIs, automating workflows, and ensuring data is exchanged securely and reliably. Security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle, and you’ll apply secure coding practices while collaborating with infrastructure and security teams.
You’ll work with SQL databases, server-side technologies (C#, .NET, Python, or Node.js), modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Astro), and cloud platforms including Azure and AWS. You’ll contribute to architecture, CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimisation to keep systems resilient and production-ready.
We’re looking for a proactive developer with strong full-stack experience, solid SQL and API knowledge, and an understanding of authentication patterns such as JWT and OAuth. If you enjoy solving complex problems, improving systems, and delivering secure digital solutions that make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Build Secure Full-Stack Solutions:
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications and back-end services that power live systems and data workflows.
Lead Technical Delivery: Take ownership of projects from concept to release—defining architecture, coordinating delivery, and ensuring secure, scalable outcomes.
Develop APIs & Integrations: Create robust RESTful APIs and integrations with enterprise platforms, identity systems, and third-party services.
Create Modern User Interfaces: Build responsive, accessible web applications using modern frameworks such as React or Astro.
Maintain Data & Cloud Platforms: Manage SQL databases and cloud-hosted environments (Azure/AWS), ensuring performance, resilience, and security.
Embed Security by Design: Apply secure coding practices, conduct reviews, and work closely with security teams to protect sensitive systems and data.
Troubleshoot & Optimise: Diagnose complex cross-stack issues, improve reliability, and continuously enhance system performance.
Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with technical and business teams, act as a senior escalation point, and support the development of junior colleagues.
