Functional Consultant

12 Month Contract - Functional Consultant F&O

Our client, a UK-based organisation, went live with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations in November 2024. Since go-live, they have encountered functional issues across various modules. To support post-implementation stabilization and continuous improvement, they are seeking an experienced D365 Functional Consultant on a contract basis.

Engagement Details:

Role: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite in South West London, 3 days remote (WFH)

Contract Length: 12-month initial contract

IR35 Status: TBC

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

The consultant will work closely with the client’s internal teams to:

• Analyse and resolve post-go-live issues across D365 modules
• Provide expert functional guidance and system configuration support
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimise existing processes
• Assist with ongoing enhancements and troubleshooting

Modules Implemented (in scope):

Procurement and Sourcing

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Accounts Payable (AP)

General Ledger (GL)

Fixed Assets (FA)

Cash and Bank Management

Project Management and Accounting (PMA)

Financial Reporter (Management Reporter)

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
• Strong working knowledge of the modules listed above
• Demonstrated experience in post-go-live support and issue resolution
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Desirable: Experience with PMA module and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
