Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Functional Consultant specialising in SCM Fulfilment & Procurement to join our EMEA IT function based out of our Watford offices.
The functional consultant for SCM & Procurement supports the Business Relationship & Solution Design Manager (Fulfilment) in delivering improvements from an application and process perspective to support the business across all Ricoh lines of business.
Ricoh are working in a heterogenous environment (Oracle 11i/12, Oracle Cloud, various legacy systems), in a multinational scope across EMEA, the main focus areas will be
Oracle 11i/12/Cloud and Coupa.
This role is responsible for designing effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency and quality. Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Chain and Procurement, the consultant translates business vision into actionable deliverables for the technical implementation teams.

What you will be doing
- Support the Business Relationship & Solution Design Manager (Fulfilment) in delivering improvements from an application and process perspective to support the business across all Ricoh lines of business, with the main focus across Oracle 11i/12/Cloud and Coupa.
- Designing effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency and quality.
- Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Chain and Procurement, the consultant translates business vision into actionable deliverables for the technical implementation teams.
- Present solution proposals back to the business.
- Support in leading strategic initiatives and projects, working alongside external vendors and internal teams, while ensuring alignment across all BRM and Solution Design workstreams.
- Gathering and validating business requirements
- Supporting business case development with detailed IT cost estimates
- Defining testing, data migration, and reporting needs
- Enabling end-to-end delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Lead on key strategic demands and projects, supporting both external vendors and the business whilst aligning with all BRM & SD workstreams.
- Work closely with Domain Architects, Application Engineering Teams, PMO and other Ricoh EMEA IT teams.
- Responsible for analysis and documentation of “As-Is” legacy processes and managing documentation of business requirements / required outcomes and the mapping of these against the existing solution. Plus, identify gaps will then need to be closed by process change or system enhancements.
- Act as subject matter expert for new applications, eg. Coupa
- Review of upcoming changes of the solution and process impact analysis of the same (Regular Cloud updates as well as Ricoh internal x-functional projects)
- Creation and maintenance of documentation / training material (Train the Trainer)
- Support the creation and/or review of Business Cases (system change always requires justification) and the creation of ballpark estimates for the solution (cost side of related Business Cases) plus the creation of project related RFQs with 3rd parties as well as the review of RFQ responses.
You will ideally have
- Ideally candidates will educated to at least degree level or equivalent professional qualification, and have a background of relevant business experience
- Successful candidate will have proven knowledge of and experience with Oracle SCM Solutions in 11i/12/Fusion/Coupa, especially in Procurement, plus clear evidence of leadership role in design of process and/or system enhancements
- Previous knowledge of and experience with Coupa Source to Pay and Procure to Pay and delivery of strategic demands and projects is required for this role. With an understanding of where supply chain and procurement sit in terms of the wider end to end solution highly advantageous
- Ideally candidates will have operation experience in delivering Coupa as a project, plus operational experience in a Supply Chain role being an advantage.
- Any awareness or experience of Lean Six Sigma methodology will be a plus
- Preferably candidate will have knowledge and experience of SDLC in a multi-application environment alongside proficiency in Microsoft applications: O365, Visio and Projects
- Ideally candidates will have the ability to translate business requirements into solution / process designs / configurations.
- You will ideally be a good communicator and influencer with excellent interpersonal communication skills, able to adopt to the target audience (e.g. language skills, technical/non-technical staff)
- Ideally candidates will have the ability to lead strategic demands and projects and communicate concisely, clearly and effectively across functions and cultures
- Fluent in English both verbal and written is a must for this role, with any other language skills specifically in French, Spanish or German a distinct advantage
