Functional Skills Tutor, you’ll play a crucial role in equipping young learners with the English and Maths skills they need to
secure employment or apprenticeships. Your expertise will directly contribute to
breaking down barriers, challenging inequality, and driving social mobility.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging face-to-face group teaching and one-to-one support sessions.
- Help learners apply English and Maths in real, vocational settings.
- Develop impactful resources tailored to learner needs.
- Support individuals in achieving Level 1 or Level 2 qualifications.
- Working at our Norwich office, with occasional travel to other sites in the region.
What We’re Looking For
We need a skilled tutor who is committed to
helping learners succeed. You should have:
- A teaching qualification (minimum Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector - DTLLS).
- Level 3 or equivalent in Functional Skills Maths, English & ICT.
- D32/33/A1 or equivalent assessment qualification, or be willing to work towards it.
