ServiceNow Agile/Functional Test Manager you will be working leads the strategic planning and operational execution of software testing to ensure products meet business requirements and quality standards before release. This role bridges the gap between technical teams (developers, testers) and non-technical stakeholders

Main Duties

Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the master test strategy, defining scope, objectives, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of testers, often managing both onshore and offshore resources.
Execution Oversight: Supervise functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure complete requirement coverage.
Defect Management: Establish and manage the defect lifecycle, prioritizing bug fixes in collaboration with developers and product owners.
Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs (e.g., defect density, test coverage) and provide regular status reports and "Go/No-Go" recommendations to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and implement new tools or automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) to optimize testing cycles.

Key Skills

Experience functional testing on ServiceNow
1+year’s experience ideally within HAM/SAM and discovery applications.

ServiceNow ATF experience from a technical side is advantageous

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with test management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Zephyr, or ALM.

Methodologies: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) within Agile/Scrum environments.

Certifications: Professional certifications such as ISTQB (Advanced/Manager level) or ISEB are typically required.

Analytical Thinking: Ability to perform risk-based testing to prioritize critical business functions under tight deadlines.

Education: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is standard.
