Were looking for passionate, friendly volunteers to join us at Tesco Portadown on Friday October 24th and Saturday October 25th for a bucket collection in support of Mencap. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a feel-good day of fundraising, connect with your local community, and help raise vital funds for people with a learning disability. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or trying it for the first time, your time and energy will make a real difference.
Bucket Collection Shifts:
- 10:00am- 12:00pm
- 12:00pm 2:00pm
- 2:00pm 4:00pm
- 4:00pm 6:00pm
Whether you can spare a couple of hours or stay for the day, your support will help raise vital funds for people with a learning disability.
As a Mencap Volunteer You Will Be:
- Friendly and Approachable Reliable
- Kind and Patient
- A good communicator (including listener)
- Willing to volunteer within guidelines and to take direction where necessary
- Accepting of others who might be different to yourself
As a Mencap Volunteer You Will:
- Make new friends
- Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses in line with our policy e.g. travel
- Full Training and support
- Volunteer alongside our experienced Fundraising team
- A chance to give back your local community
