Garage Electrician / Technician - F1 Evolution (Heritage Programme)

We have a new opportunity to be part of our F1 Evolution team in the role of Garage Electrician / Technician.

F1 Evolution is Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team’s heritage programme. As a Garage Electrician / Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and smooth running of our F1 Evolution and non-F1 events. You’ll work alongside our engineers, mechanics, and build teams to ensure the highest standards of garage setup, safety, and car preparation—contributing directly to our objective of consistently competing at the front of the grid.

You will be responsible for:

• Carrying out safe electrical installations across garages and trailers.
• Leading or assisting with car-related duties during events, such as fuel and tyre management.
• Reporting any issues to the Chief Garage Technician promptly.
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Supporting winter freight and equipment servicing and rebuilds.
• Managing NDT and TPMS responsibilities.
• Travelling to and working at all F1 Evolution events.
• Building garages for events and preparing F1 Evolution trucks and workspaces.
• Maintaining high standards of garage presentation throughout events.
• Adhering to session schedules and ensuring readiness.
• Communicating effectively and following agreed radio protocols.
• Working collaboratively with Chief Mechanic/Number One Mechanics on car tasks.
• Participating in pit stops and meeting fitness and training requirements.
• Supporting the planning and execution of efficient garage pack-downs.
• Ensuring the safe transportation of all equipment by road, air, and sea.
• Driving company vehicles to and from events when required.
• Performing other duties as reasonably required, aligned to the role.

• Strong ability to build positive working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Availability and willingness to travel extensively to fulfil event requirements.
• Class 1 HGV licence preferable
• Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and support colleagues in a demanding environment.
• Calm and confident under pressure, with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Innovative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Results-driven mindset with strong decision-making skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and extended periods away from base.
• Enthusiastic, versatile, and capable of working collaboratively within high-pressure team environments.
• Strong commitment to Health and Safety best practices.

This is a full-time role based at our Silverstone campus, with significant travel to events throughout the season.
