Gardening is a powerful tool for recovery - it helps reduce stress, improve mood, build routine, encourage connection, foster a sense of achievement, and offers a safe space for reflection.
Our gardening volunteer role supports the development and maintenance of a therapeutic garden space, creating a calm, welcoming environment where service users can connect with nature and experience the benefits of outdoor activity as part of their recovery journey.
We’re looking for volunteers who are passionate about gardening and nature, bring patience and empathy to their interactions, approach others without judgment, feel comfortable supporting people with complex needs and are dependable - whether working independently or as part of a team.
What You’ll Get Out of Volunteering - Personal Growth - Build confidence, learn new skills, share your expertise and gain hands-on experience.
- Make a Difference - Support people in their recovery and help create safer, healthier communities.
- Join a supportive team - Work alongside passionate, friendly people who share your values.
- Feel Valued - Your time and effort will be recognised and appreciated.
- Travel expenses - reimburse all reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred in travelling to the place of volunteering and whilst carrying out any voluntary activities.
Whether you can commit a few hours a week or want to get more involved, volunteering with Change Grow Live is a rewarding and meaningful experience.
We are committed to creating an environment that respects and values diversity, with a positive and supportive culture where everyone feels welcome, empowered, and represented.
Your time and empathy can change lives. Join us in bringing hope and support to those who need it most!
