Job Purpose
To operate, maintain, overhaul and optimise the gas to grid assets and energy generation asset base (including the fleet of spark ignition and dual fuel CHP engines; flare stacks; siloxane removal plants; carbon vessels and all associated ancillaries,) whilst ensuring that the Energy Generation asset base achieves the availability, quality, generation targets, performance and safety standards of the Company.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, adjust, and optimise energy generation assets to achieve peak performance.
- Align site process requirements with targeted gas production and export goals.
- Perform fault diagnosis and planned maintenance to maximise asset availability.
- Build strong relationships with National Grid to ensure compliance and smooth gas export.
- Mentor and upskill O&M personnel to strengthen in-house technical capabilities.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in operations or maintenance within a production or energy generation environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical competence, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Solid understanding of safe systems of work and industrial asset operations.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations in the wastewater industry.
- Effective communication, influencing, and analytical skills.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- HNC technically qualified or ONC as a minimum in an Electrical and Mechanical discipline
- Drive licence is essential
