Cambridge is having a moment. It is the cornerstone of the government’s economic strategy, the beating heart of Europe’s life sciences sector, and a place where everyone has a view about how it should grow in the years ahead.
For the city and the area to thrive, we need the infrastructure to keep people moving, a skills programme to equip the workforce of the future and become a place where innovation in transport is fostered.
This is the story you can tell as the Greater Cambridge Partnership’s new head of public affairs and stakeholder management.
You will lead a team that promotes the benefits of our multi-million pound transport projects, demonstrating how we are delivering schemes to make it easier to travel sustainably, while also showing how cutting-edge technology like autonomous buses are part of our future.
People, communities and stakeholders will be at the forefront of your work, using our channels, creativity and data to help us reach our target audiences.
You will be an experienced communications leader well versed in developing strategies, striking up collaborations and using your influencing skills to help us achieve our goals. You will be willing to get stuck in, have the vision to develop a team and be excited about the prospect of working with people who are shaping the future of Cambridge.
