About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and technically adept GenAI Architect to lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and domain-specific GenAI solutions. This role will focus on system-level design, integration of OpenAI models, and technical leadership across engineering and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Leadership: Architect and oversee the implementation of GenAI systems aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- System Design & Integration: Design end-to-end GenAI architectures including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and multimodal systems leveraging OpenAI APIs and frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
- Model Integration: Guide the integration and optimization of LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, GPT-3.5) into enterprise systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Platform Collaboration: Work with cloud architects to ensure GenAI workloads are optimized for performance, cost, and security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with engineering and research teams to ensure architectural consistency and technical excellence.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish best practices for model safety, bias mitigation, explainability, and auditability.
- Innovation & Research: Evaluate emerging tools (e.g., Ollama, vLLM, TGI) and contribute to internal research and IP development.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering or architecture, with 3+ years in applied AI/ML.
- Proven experience with OpenAI APIs and ecosystem (e.g., GPT-4, Whisper, DALL·E).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Hugging Face, Transformers, FAISS, and vector databases (e.g., Weaviate, Chroma).
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and context window optimization.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with OpenAI fine-tuning workflows and safety alignment practices.
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and CI/CD for AI.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for GenAI (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
