We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and collaborative leader to take up a permanent General Manager position. The remit for the role is:
- Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery
- Operating Theatres
- Peri-Operative Medicine
This post is ideal for someone wanting to build on their existing operational management experience and/or someone who has a clinical leadership background looking to expand their experience. As part of the directorate leadership team, the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring the safe, high quality and efficient delivery of clinical services.

Provide operational leadership, as part of the leadership team, across the directorate covering quality, access, finance and people;
Lead the elective recovery planning and delivery efforts for the imaging modalities with a focus on delivering diagnostic targets and supporting 18 week and diagnostic targets;
Work closely with Trust-wide operational and clinical colleagues to support the Trust's elective recovery programme as a whole
