About The Role
Balfour Beatty are looking for a General Operative to join our Regional Scotland team in
Nairn at our Nairn Academy contract on a 3-month fixed term contract.
Role Purpose
To assist in the successful and efficient delivery of the Nairn Academy contract by undertaking a wide range of general construction tasks to support the wider delivery team.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- To carry out all type of civil and building works with direct supervision
- Undertake general civil and building activities within capabilities with direct supervision.
This Will Include But Not Exclusive To
- Civil engineering and building tasks of a minor nature
- Boundary fencing
- General housekeeping of the site to maintain safe and tidy working environment
- To observe all safety procedures and instructions
- Any other duties within the capacity as required by the Foreman
Working arrangements
- Monday to Friday dayshift
- Role will be based at Nairn Academy
- Must be able to travel to and from site independently.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience
- CSCS card is essential – support available for those who do not currently hold one.
