Description

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loading shovel for the movement of waste material
Sorting recyclables in a busy transfer station on a moving conveyor as part of a team ensuring strict adherence to company H & S and Compliance policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of others who may be affected by your actions or lack of action at work.
• Cooperate with Enva and co-workers to help everyone meet their Health and safety obligations.
• Ensuring company Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) policies are strictly adhered to
• Bring to Enva’s attention any safety concerns or potential shortfalls in our HSEQ provisions
• Report all accidents, incidents and near misses at the time they occur.
• Completing pre-start checks are carried out at the start of every shift
• Responsible for ensuring the mobile plant is cleaned down on weekly
• Reporting any issues with the plant to assist in ensuring mobile plant is maintained
• Re-fueling of mobile plant
• Push material through to 360 machine, empty bays, load lorries
• Hand picking material from a moving conveyor belt, inspecting them for contamination, in line with the pick rate targets
• Understand picking priorities
• Reporting any problems noticed on plant or with material or reduced flow
• Ensuring work area is kept clean and tidy
• Cleaning when the plant is on a prolonged break down
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping on site

• Experience of driving mobile plant
• Previous experience of working as part of a team
