Job Title: General Operative / Labourer - HS2 Project
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire, UK Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Contract Start Date: Immediate
Company Overview: We are currently recruiting hardworking and reliable General Operatives to join our team on the HS2 high-speed rail project near Banbury. This is an excellent opportunity to gain long-term work on one of the UK's flagship infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting tradespeople and plant operators across the site.
Keeping the site clean, safe, and organised.
Handling and moving materials as directed by site supervisors.
Supporting general construction and groundwork tasks.
Following all site health & safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
Valid CSCS card
Previous experience on construction or civil engineering projects.
Good attitude, punctuality, and willingness to work as part of a team.
UK Driving Licence preferred due to limited public transport access to site.
Basic PPE (hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots) - can be provided if needed.
Desirable
Additional site qualifications (e.g. Manual Handling, Banksman, CAT & Genny)
Experience working on large infrastructure projects like HS2
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on project needs.
