Who we are looking for:
Unistrut is seeking an experienced General Operative with a strong background in sheet metal work, including operation of press brakes, guillotines, and spot-welding equipment, to support our continued growth within the Atkore product range.
What you’ll do:
Hourly rate of £12.21 + 22% shift allowance for day shifts
39 hours/week, rotating between:
Unistrut is seeking an experienced General Operative with a strong background in sheet metal work, including operation of press brakes, guillotines, and spot-welding equipment, to support our continued growth within the Atkore product range.
What you’ll do:
- Operate production and packing equipment, including press brakes and guillotines
- Carry out spot welding and other sheet metal fabrication tasks
- Assemble, pack, and identify trunking support products for our Flytec product range
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts and materials to ensure quality standards
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Ensure workspaces follow 5S standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the role
- Always Follow Health & Safety procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Proven experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Proficiency operating press brakes, guillotines, and spot welding tools
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Drive to meet and exceed production targets safely and with high quality

- Shift 1: Mon–Thurs 6am–2pm, Fri 6am–1pm
- Shift 2: Mon–Thurs 2pm–10pm, Fri 1pm–8pm
