Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Generative AI Solutions Architect with deep experience in financial services to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge GenAI-driven solutions. This role is technology-agnostic and strategically focused, requiring a blend of deep AI expertise, domain knowledge in finance, and strong stakeholder management skills.

You will be responsible for structuring GenAI use cases, engaging with customers and internal teams, and orchestrating work across third-party technology partners, all while ensuring the secure, ethical, and regulatory-compliant deployment of AI capabilities across the financial domain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture & Innovation

• Define and design GenAI-driven architectures tailored to finance-specific use cases, including:
• Intelligent document processing (KYC/AML)
• Conversational finance assistants (customer service, advisory)
• Automated risk and compliance workflows
• Synthetic data generation for testing and modeling
• Personalized financial insights and reporting
• Select the right GenAI technologies (open-source, proprietary, cloud, or hybrid) to meet client goals without being tied to a specific vendor stack.
• Lead solution blueprinting, technical feasibility assessments, and road mapping.

2. Customer & Executive Engagement

• Act as the primary GenAI thought leader in strategic client engagements.
• Conduct discovery sessions, co-creation workshops, and presentations to business and IT stakeholders (including C-suite).
• Translate complex AI capabilities into actionable business outcomes, ROI estimates, and transformation roadmaps.

3. Cross-functional & Third-party Collaboration

• Coordinate with internal engineering, data, product, compliance, and risk teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead engagements with cloud providers, AI startups, system integrators, and consultancies to integrate best-in-class capabilities.
• Serve as a governance and architecture lead across multi-party AI initiatives.

4. Risk, Compliance & Responsible AI

• Ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., FINRA, SEC, GDPR, Model Risk Governance).
• Design solutions with embedded safeguards around transparency, explainability, auditability, and ethical AI usage.

5. Knowledge Development & Enablement

• Create reusable playbooks, frameworks, and GenAI solution kits specific to financial services.
• Mentor internal teams and conduct enablement sessions for business and technical stakeholders.
• Stay at the forefront of GenAI advancements, finance industry regulations, and AI risk trends.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise technology, consulting, or solution architecture roles, with 3+ years hands-on experience in GenAI or LLM-based solution design.
• Proven experience designing AI solutions for banks, asset managers, insurers, or fintechs.
• Expertise across a wide spectrum of GenAI technologies (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Meta Llama, Hugging Face).
• Familiarity with financial data sources (e.g., market data, transactional data, credit reports) and core systems (e.g., core banking, CRMs, compliance systems).
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging senior-level stakeholders in both business and technology.
• Experience working in or with regulated financial environments and navigating security and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with retrieval augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning, model evaluation, or deploying models in production environments.
• Understanding of financial risk modeling, model validation, or operational risk frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as DORA, SR 11-7, or Basel III as they relate to AI.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related fields; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
