About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative GenAI Researcher to lead and contribute to cutting-edge research in Generative AI. This role focuses on advancing the state-of-the-art in large language models (LLMs), multimodal systems, and agentic workflows using OpenAI technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with academic institutions, industry partners, and internal engineering teams to drive impactful research and publications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in Generative AI, including LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and multimodal systems.
- Design and experiment with novel architectures and training techniques using OpenAI APIs and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and validate research ideas in real-world applications.
- Publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and contribute to internal IP development.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging tools and frameworks (e.g., Ollama, vLLM, TGI) into research workflows.
- Ensure research adheres to ethical AI principles, including safety, bias mitigation, and explainability.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the development of a strong GenAI research community within the organization.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML research, or related fields.
- Proven expertise with OpenAI APIs and ecosystem (e.g., GPT-4, Whisper, DALL·E).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Hugging Face, Transformers, FAISS, and vector databases (e.g., Weaviate, Chroma).
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and context window optimization.
- Track record of publications or patents in AI/ML or related domains.
Required Skills
- Experience with OpenAI fine-tuning workflows and safety alignment practices.
- Familiarity with MLOps pipelines and CI/CD for AI research.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for GenAI (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
- Prior experience in EdTech, FinTech, or Healthcare AI research is a plus.
