Summary / Purpose Of The Position
The Global Brand Lead is a senior global leader responsible for driving the successful launch of key assets across global markets, with a particular focus on the US market. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing launch strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and delivering launch excellence. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leading global or US product launches, with experience in the migraine therapeutic area considered a strong asset.
Main Responsibilities
- Launch Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive global launch strategies, including positioning, value proposition, and go-to-market plans tailored to priority markets, especially the US.
- Launch Readiness & Execution: Ensure global and local teams are aligned and prepared for launch. Develop and deploy launch readiness frameworks, KPIs, and operational plans.
- Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence: Leverage deep market insights, especially from the US healthcare landscape, to inform launch planning and anticipate competitive dynamics.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mobilize cross-functional teams (medical, regulatory, market access, commercial) to ensure integrated launch planning and flawless execution.
- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive engagement strategies with key stakeholders including KOLs, advocacy groups, and payers. Lead congress planning, messaging, and promotional activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track launch KPIs, ensuring continuous optimization of launch activities based on real-time feedback and market dynamics.
- Lifecycle Planning: Contribute to long-term brand planning and lifecycle management, ensuring launch strategies are aligned with broader asset goals.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead cross-functional launch teams. Foster a high-performance culture focused on agility, accountability, and excellence.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all launch activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Knowledge & Experience
- Education: Degree in life sciences or business; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of leading successful product launches, ideally in the US market.
- Experience in migraine or neuroscience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Languages: Fluent English required.
