Role Summary
The Global Head of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for the design, development, and delivery of LOM’s HR strategy across all jurisdictions. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will provide strategic direction and operational oversight in areas including recruitment, talent management, succession planning, training and development, compensation and benefits, organisation design, legal compliance, and cultural engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all recruitment and hiring activities in partnership with departmental managers, ensuring quality hires aligned with organisational values and strategic goals.
- Develop and manage employment contracts and policies that meet all local legal and regulatory requirements, safeguarding both employer and employee interests.
- Oversee succession planning, and workforce planning, across all jurisdictions.
- Recommend and evaluate the efficient deployment of human capital across departments and regions.
- Implement a HR Information System to support data-driven decision making.
- Oversight and facilitation of the company payroll
- Continuously review and update HR policies, programs, and procedures in line with evolving local laws, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Manage all immigration processes and work permit applications through third parties (law firms etc) across jurisdictions, ensuring timely compliance with immigration law.
- Work closely with the CFO and sit on the Senior Management Team along with other Heads of Department, contributing to the formulation and monitoring of departmental goals and HR systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and manage key HR suppliers including pension plans, medical insurance providers, and government-mandated contributions such as Social Insurance, NIB, and employment tax.
- Maintain a robust salary structure, supported by regular market research and compensation benchmarking and annual salary reviews, to attract and retain high-performing talent.
- Design bespoke performance management systems and tools tailored for each department which support individual career development and aligns with company objectives.
- Drive the development of organisation-wide training and development for employees at all levels.
- Oversee employee relations matters including performance management and terminations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.
Qualifications
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Recognised professional HR designation such as CIPD, CPP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR.
Skills and Experience
- Significant experience of successfully recruiting sales roles globally utilising modern ways of recruiting.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, compensation strategy, and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- At least five years experience in HR leadership roles within financial services, preferably in investment or wealth management.
- Demonstrated success in organisational development, training, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working with cross-border teams and remote leadership structures.
Travel
Periodic travel is required to LOM offices, Cayman Islands (once a year), Bahamas (once a year), Bermuda (three times a year).
