Job Purpose


The Higher Education team designs and oversees a number of projects and programmes within the Oxford International Digital Institute. In particular, International Foundation, International Year 1, Pre-master’s, and Pre-PhD programmes that are delivered in a range of modes and locations to give international students access to Higher Education. As the number of partnerships and programmes has grown, so too has the need to grow the operations team and ensure their success.


Working closely with the Director of HE, Academic Head, and Programme Leads, the post holder will take non-academic ownership of a number of centres/project accounts with a view to successfully supporting, nurturing, and growing them commercially.


This role will oversee specific partnerships while also being a key OIDI HE team member with line management responsibility for the Admissions & Progressions Coordinator.

The role requires significant internal stakeholder liaison with regional sales, marketing, admissions, and finance. Externally, university partners, agents, and Global Partner managers/directors.


Ultimately, the role aims to nurture and grow commercial partnerships through excellent relationship management, supporting non-academic functions of the partnerships and driving engagement and use of the product suite.


Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Overseeing specific centres/regions/projects as agreed and required
  • Maintaining and improving relationships with key stakeholders to drive product engagement within the scope of the project assigned
  • Building and growing relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure operational processes for areas such as marketing, finance, administration are in place to support centres and projects
  • Working with marketing to ensure all partners have the required level of communication and promotional material required to improve portfolio awareness and growth
  • Proactively managing the onboarding and non-academic set up of new projects and centre partnerships including overseas launch events and visits
  • Supporting the OIDI Partnerships teams in UK and NA with project updates
  • Contributing to product knowledge meetings and new partner meetings
  • In collaboration with Academic Head, ensuring all partners are kept up to date with any operational changes
  • In collaboration with Academic Head, collecting and analysing partner commercial data to report to OIDI leadership
  • Work with the OI Global Recruitment team to ensure increased adoption of the OIDI product portfolio and successful project or centre set up
  • Support finance in managing project/centre financial statements, invoivcing and financial reporting
  • Ensure all students are tracked through enrolment and are submitting applications to onward HEI in a timely and correct manner (managed through the Admissions and Progression Coordinator)

Statutory requirements


  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Business UG degree (Desirable)
  • PG dip or master’s in business-related subject area (Desirable)


Experience and knowledge


  • Previous experience in a commercially driven education role
  • Proven experience in managing operations of Educational Partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to support and grow a portfolio of education partners through cross-selling and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience of working to targets
  • Experience with onboarding new partners and providing ongoing platform and administrative support
  • Experience in collecting, analysing, and reporting data to inform leadership decisions
  • Knowledge of operational requirements for an educational partnership
  • Experience of working overseas with international partners on a commercial basis
  • Familiarity with OIDI HE products or similar education institutions globally (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with digital platforms used in education or partner management, with the ability to troubleshoot and support users (Desirable)
  • Experience working with higher education institutions globally (Desirable)

  • Strong IT skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially excel and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of CRMs, HubSpot and/or Salesforce preferred (Desirable)
