Your role
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Global Operations Associate within our UK division. This position falls under our Global Operations line of business and is located in Moorgate/London. In this role, you will be an integral part of the London-based Outbound Transaction Services Processing team, whose ultimate aim is to ensure the timely and effective delivery of domestic and international payments for the Global Corpay Cross Border business. The scope of this role will look to support the Global Operations team, overseeing and delivering an efficient and effective team, which consistently demonstrate a best-in-class Payment Processing service.
You will report directly to Head of UK Operations and regularly collaborate with transaction and client support.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Global Operations Associate you will be expected to work in our Moorgate office hybrid (3 days / week). Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in Moorgate
- Company-issued equipment + remote access
- Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Validating the data input, ensuring that all relevant information has been obtained and local routing requirements are met.
- Participate in the settlement process of spot and forward orders adhering to specific client details in an efficient and accurate manner;
- Liaise with other members of the team to ensure daily deliverables are met while adhering to the various intraday payment and other cut-offs
- Ensure funds reach our global clients and beneficiaries in a timely manner with the highest degree of data accuracy and confidentiality
- Support a team culture built on client-focused support
- Liaise with other members of Global Operations to provide subject matter expertise
- Work closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain strong working relationships with our banking partners.
- Train and support associates on a continuous basis.
- Comply with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines and controls; and
- Ad Hoc projects as requested
Education And Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in an administrative capacity;
- Experience in the financial/banking industry would be an asset with exposure to and understanding of global payment formatting requirements (major, minor, and exotic markets)
- Experience with SWIFT banking system, payment processing and payment investigations;
- Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook);
- IT literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems;
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
