We’re looking for a Global Manager, Travel & Expense (T&E) to lead and evolve our worldwide T&E operations. This role is critical in ensuring consistency, compliance, and a seamless employee experience across all regions. You’ll manage a global team, optimize policies and processes, and act as a key partner in enhancing how we manage corporate travel and expenses.
What You'll Do
As Global Manager, T&E, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategic and Operational Leadership (75%)
- Lead the global T&E function, acting as the SME for SAP Concur
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of T&E operations globally
- Oversee relationships with travel vendors and negotiate competitive contracts
- Manage and improve travel booking systems and tools across regions
- Align regional strategies with global T&E vision and business needs
Process Optimization & Compliance (25%)
- Identify automation and technology integration opportunities to streamline workflows
- Collaborate with IT to enhance travel tools and user experience
- Monitor expense data for trends, compliance, and savings opportunities
- Maintain and enforce global T&E policies and controls
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices
People & Vendor Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of T&E professionals
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Finance, HR, IT, Procurement)
- Manage key external partners including travel management companies and agencies
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years' experience in global travel and expense management
- 3+ years of experience leading teams
- Deep knowledge of T&E operations, policies, compliance, and tax implications
- Proficiency with SAP Concur and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Proven project and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English (additional EMEA languages are a plus)
