The Job Role
Westcoast is hiring for a dedicated GoPro channel manager to focus on the growth and expansion of GoPro products within the UK & IE retail and camera specialist space. The successful candidate will bring their knowledge and experience of this category and help drive portfolio growth via relationship building and owning the UK channel top to bottom.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborative forecasting & stock reporting with GoPro to ensure healthy inventory levels in channel & distribution.
- Joint account management & business planning with Internal account managers.
- Business planning including but not limited to; Discuss, coordinate & present MDF proposals Plan & manage POP execution.
- Maintain regular communications both internally and externally to review forecasts, orders, promotions, opportunities.
- Set up the relevant client meetings to develop new partners/channels where opportunity adds value.
- Maintains knowledge of competitors to strategically position the company's products and services better.

To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Proven track record of 3-5 years of Sales Account Management within the UK or EMEA Retail and Distribution Sector, across a variety of verticals to understand and implement the best sales strategy to Retail channel experiences a must
- Strong commercial and operational awareness
- Ability to effect substantial positive change in a short timescale.
- Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Passion for the GoPro brand, values and its products.
- Methodical and applies logic to tasks and decision making.
- Innovative and creative approach to dealing with challenges.
- Well organised and capable of managing time and prioritising.
- A high level of organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the drive to exceed targets
