What You’ll Do
The Governance Manager is responsible for the provision of excellent organisation, enabling the success of the Legal & Business Integrity leadership team and function. This role contributes to the execution of related strategies and directions through expertise in overall change management, providing senior consultancy and advice to the Legal & Business Integrity leadership team. The Governance Manager creates and maintains effective cross-functional working relationships and assumes responsibility for day to day projects and tasks.
- Ensures governance of corporate, exco and LBI calendar and objectives /agendas through in-depth understanding of the business priorities in order to enable fast decision making and smooth implementation of decisions
- Co-ordinates all Grow our People pillar activity
- Manage comms plan with communications manager
- Develops, manages and administers project documentation and communications, including the internal communications for the General Counsel, content for LBI LT meetings and agendas (town halls, LT meetings, LT offsites, all hands)
- Responsible for attending Leadership Team meeting and managing Leadership Team actions. Holds Leadership Team to account on actions and following through
Who You Are
- Project management, organisation and stakeholder management are key skills
- Can communicate a clear vision to inspire and motivate teams to drive continuous improvement, organisational change and affect organisational culture
- Able to quickly and efficiently identify opportunities, tackle big challenges, understood root causes and make informed decisions in order to deliver business impact
- Creation of slide decks and speaking notes for the General Counsel and other LT members
- LT goals cascade and collation. Track achievements vs goals for LT
- Acts as liaison across the LBI footprint with regards to implementation and/or interpretation of overall strategy, ensuring internal buy-in of LBI directors/ heads and relevant partners
- Builds solid relations and contributes to the delivery of cross-company projects and acts as an interface between relevant internal and external partners, providing regular project reports and updates through the tracking of project status
- Identifies and evaluates the risks associated with programme activities and takes appropriate action to control the risk
