The Role:

Governance & Reporting Senior Specialist is an experienced role supporting the Governance, Reporting & Oversight Team Lead with responsibility to manage 1LoD financial crime governance, MI and reporting and data analysis for the Life business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Policy, Governance & Oversight Team Lead to define and coordinate key 1LoD risk management governance fora.
  • Define Life 1LOD FC Governance reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Life 1LoD to obtain inputs on governance reporting activities.
  • Define MI requirements from Life 1LoD FC teams.
  • Collate and analyse required MI from 1LoD teams, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc MI reports, using data visualization techniques to present insights to stakeholders.
  • Support the analysis of MI trends, identify potential areas of risk or opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a delegate for the Governance, Reporting & & Oversight Team Lead.
  • Produce and coordinate required governance materials.
  • Attend required 1LoD FC governance for a, providing key insights on 1LoD FC risk management themes and trends.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience within governance management and implementation.
  • Experience within FC.
  • Experience with managing junior team members.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong MI and data analytics capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders within the financial crime and business teams.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
