Graduate Accounts Assistant – Energy Sector (Purchase Ledger Focus)

About the Role

We’re seeking a motivated Finance Graduate | Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team in the energy sector, with a focus on Purchase Ledger activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance or accounting graduate looking to kickstart their career within the renewable energy and sustainability industry.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in core finance operations while being supported to develop your professional skills and progress within a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support the accounts payable process and reconcile supplier statements
• Assist with month-end close activities and cost reporting
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve invoice or payment queries
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
• Provide general assistance to the wider finance team as required

About You

• Finance, Accounting, or Business graduate with about 1-2 years' experience
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach
• Confident using Excel and financial systems
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Keen to develop a career in finance within the renewable energy and sustainability space
