Job Description About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and curious Graduate Enablement & Support Engineer to join our growing AI Services team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic, early-career opportunity, ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about artificial intelligence and want to apply their technical skills in a real-world setting.
You’ll work in a hybrid role across customer enablement, technical onboarding, and third-line product support. You'll work directly with internal stakeholders, clients, and engineers to ensure our AI solutions are well-supported, integrated effectively, and are delivering value to Sage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in getting started with our AI platforms and tools
- Help tailor onboarding materials, documentation, and demos to specific client needs
- Deliver hands-on technical guidance during AI service rollouts or proof-of-concepts
- Support clients in deploying, configuring, and integrating AI features and models
- Help identify improvements to onboarding and support workflows
- Work closely with product and data science teams to understand AI capabilities and translate them into customer-facing solutions
- Provide third-line technical support for AI-powered services
- Log, investigate, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering teams
- Monitor service performance and be pro-active in reducing issues that come in
- Assist with issue triage and escalation processes
To be successful in this role, you'll be a Graduate, ideally in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar.
Alongside this, you'll have
- An understanding of core AI/ML concepts, such as natural language processing (NLP), model training, or computer vision
- Coding skills (preferably in Python) and familiarity with development tools and environments
- An understanding of databases and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and a customer-focused mindset
This role is based in our Newcastle office. We work on a hybrid basis with three days in office.
