Description
Job Description Kickstart your tech career helping developers build smarter and faster.

Ready to launch your career in tech? As a Graduate Engineering Enablement Associate, you’ll join a global team that's all about making life easier for developers. You'll help shape how teams connect to the Sage Network by supporting their integration journey—from first contact to go-live.

This isn’t a backseat role. You’ll be on the frontlines, working with product teams, engineers, and external partners like Banks, Fin-Techs, and Payment providers. You’ll answer technical questions, untangle integration issues, and make sure our APIs are as smooth to adopt as they are powerful. Think of yourself as the go-to person who makes technical things click for everyone.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Team up with our ERP engineering pros to help connect systems to the Sage Network.
  • Build content and tools that make life easier for developers — from guides to resources that speed up integration and adoption.
  • Own the docs. You'll create and maintain technical documentation through our Developer Portals.
  • Run the room. Help organize and lead meetings with internal teams and external partners.
  • Boost support teams. Work closely with customer service to build training materials and tools that level up knowledge and streamline ticket handling.
  • Jump into action when customer issues escalate — collaborating with Engineering and Tier 2 support to solve the tough stuff.
  • Be a true team player. Collaborate, contribute, and bring positive energy to everything you do.
  • Stay curious. Learn fast, adapt faster, and keep up with new tech and smarter ways to work.
  • Make us better. Whether it’s a slick Postman collection or a handy automation script, you’ll find ways to improve how we work and how teams integrate with us.

Key Responsibilities This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle Office

What will the Programme look like?

You’ll be encouraged to learn and experiment as part of a continuous innovation community, in an environment where ambition for future progression is rewarded. We’ll expect a lot from you, and you’ll be encouraged to bring innovative ideas and technical solutions, that add real value for our customers.

To support your technical development, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a variety of technical tracks to super charge your career development.

You’ll also have tech skills, such as coding experience, but with a wealth of different products, we’re not set on which coding language you use as long as you’re willing to learn.

You’ll also be,

  • Able to demonstrate a passion for tech, with skills to match
  • A keen eye for detail an inquisitive mind to help problem solve
  • You’ll be resilient and determined, able to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • As part of a global business, you’ll be an effective communicator, able to collaborate with people across the globe.

What can you expect from the process?

  • Apply online with CV/Resume
  • Complete a gamified science-driven assessment via Harver, to help us accurately assess if you’re aligned to our values and behaviours, whilst removing any risk of unconscious bias from our process
  • Complete a short video interview to really bring to life your skills and experiences.
  • If your video interview is successful, you’ll be invited to an Assessment Centre at one of our Sage offices.
  • Successful candidates will join our Graduate Programme on 1 October 2025.

As we receive a high volume of applications, you may receive a delayed response to your video interview. We thank you for your patience.

Here at Sage, we are committed to inclusivity for all, so if there any adjustments that would help you thrive in the application process or beyond, please reach out to us at [email protected]
