Job Description
As a Graduate Technical Author, you’ll work closely with our R&D, Design, and UX/UI teams, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and building relationships with the experts behind them. Your role will be pivotal in creating technical materials that support our customers, partners, and the wider Darktrace community.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days per week in our Cambridge headquarters.
What Will I Be Doing
Key responsibilities include assisting end users, drafting technical material for various audiences, and collaborating with translators for multi-language support. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Technical document writing, editing, and proofreading,
- Curation of content and liaise with translators for multiple language support,
- Documentation reviews and providing feedback.
What Experience Do I Need
We’re seeking individuals who are passionate about clear communication and continuous improvement. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working across disciplines and translating complex ideas into accessible content. You will have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts,
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy,
- Experience writing technical documents or long-form academic material,
- The ability to collaborate with both experienced engineers and junior end-users,
- A proactive mindset and strong analytical skills.
