We are a 6-branch practice located in Halesowen. We have great transport links into Birmingham city centre, which is approximately 6 miles away, and are lucky enough to have some beautiful rural areas near too such as Kinver, Clent Hills and the Lickey Hills. We are also 40 mins away from Birmingham international airport. You will be mainly based at our Halesowen site but will be required to work at our other sites.
We have a supportive and dedicated team of 26 Vets and 36 Nurses. Our Vets have a great variety of different disciplines. They are always willing to share their experience and knowledge which allows us to see a wide and varied caseload. We have an annual summer and winter event which allows all our colleagues to join in and socialise away from the workplace. We have an open-door policy where our management team and clinical directors are available for any concerns that the team may have. We encourage CPD and arrange lunch and learns along with our own clinical club where one of our Vet team will take the lead and discuss a topic that others may not be confident in to help build knowledge. IVC have a wellbeing portal with lots of advice and tips which is easily accessible. We like to class ourselves as the Manor Family.
Our main hospital has 5 consultation rooms, 2 theatres, a large preparation room, an x-ray suite, a CT suite, a recovery ward, separate dog, cat and exotic wards, a dental suite, isolation, and offices to allow admin work to be completed away from clinical areas. We have an ultrasound, CT, K-laser, Lap Spays, Endoscopy, and access to MRI to allow us to offer a wide range of services to our clients. Our branches have a minimum of 2 consult rooms and a theatre with 2 branches having dental x-ray equipment. Within our team, we have certificate holders in Surgery, Ophthalmology, Imaging, Medicine and Exotics.

You will work 40 hours per week over 4 days a week working 10-hour days. We have a Saturday morning rota and you will need to work 4 in 12 Saturday mornings (Paid or TOIL). You will also be part of our bank holiday rota. We have no OOH.
We have a qualified GDP Adviser and a large multi disciplined team to help and support you. We would love to support you to enhance your skills in all areas of the profession. We would love you to stay part of Manor once you complete the academy having grown into a confident small animal Vet.
