Graphic Designer

The Team:

The MarComms Team, part of the Marketing Department, is responsible for the targeted communication and interaction with customers and prospect customers using various media channels, alongside guarding the consistent representation and usage of the Southco brand against clearly defined brand guidelines.

It manages the generation and distribution of communication content that drives customer engagement and lead generation.

Working closely with the other functions of the Marketing Team the MarComms Department is responsible for the promotion of the 4P’s Marketing Mix and the tactical implementation of the business’s sales and marketing strategies.

The role:

The artistic candidate will have valid experience in the creative online and print design and production of promotional and technical materials and graphic art, preferably in a multi-lingual working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future direction of Southco’s graphics design activities as the function continues moving into the digital world and the development of online and website-based graphics material.

The role will entail developing customer-engaging material for usage across the breadth of media channels, including video marketing. You will also support the development of graphics materials across the entire business.

Is this a role for you?

• 3-4 years’ experience in graphics and/or web designs in a B2B environment, with experience in technical product literature and corporate branding design advantageous
• Degree in Graphics Design (or relevant degree)
• Comprehensive experience working on a Mac platform and working knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom & Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Flash and/or After Effects would be an advantage. Knowledge of web development and multimedia software advantageous
• Passion and enthusiasm for creative design
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills
