About You
You will be part of the busy Voids team undertaking routine repairs and projects throughout our empty properties across the city. The work that you carry out will enable us to provide families with their new homes.
Your Duties Will Include
You will need a full driving licence in order to drive our vehicles and will also be required to undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks.
As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a ‘can do’ attitude is all essential as you’ll be our ambassador when you visit our customers’ homes to carry out repairs and installations to the highest of standards You will liaise with residents, peers and colleagues on a daily basis so communication and customer focus will be essential to the role. Organisational, customer service, time management and physical skills are key to this role.

- Working on repairs on housing stock and communal areas.
- Carrying out repairs & replacement of fencing
- Repairs and replacements of concrete paths
- Excavations for repair and renewal of watermains
