Our client, a growing international company is seeking an experienced Group Commercial Analyst. This role partners with Regional CFOs, FP&A teams, and senior stakeholders to drive business performance. As well as preparing budgets and forecasting, the successful individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting.

Description

The responsibilities of the Group Commercial Analyst role include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare the Group Monthly Business Review pack.
• Assist with business performance analysis.
• Assist with developing, refreshing, maintaining and ensuring accuracy of Key Performance Indicators reporting (in Power BI and Excel).
• Assist with financial and business modelling and forecasting, including on special projects (M&A, refinancing).
• Assist with the annual Group budget process.
• Monitor early on deviations to the budget by collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimise financial performance.
• Assist with the preparation of financial and business modelling and forecasting, including on special projects (M&A, refinancing).
• Support the data agenda of the Group.
• Execute & provide insights/analytics.

Skills

The skills of the Group Commercial Analyst role include, but are not limited to:

• Finalist or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent).
• Strong FP&A, financial analysis, or reporting experience within a PE-backed business, FMCG or other fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a self-motivating team that focuses on continuous learning and development.
• Commercially astute, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent experience in business partnering, stakeholder management, and collaborative cross-team work.
