Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Group Accountant, located in Manchester. The Finance Group Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining and updating accounting software. The role involves conducting financial analysis to support decision-making processes and providing insights on financial performance. The candidate will also be responsible for compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting skills
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and provide insights
• Experience in Finance and familiarity with Accounting Software
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the finance team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the education sector is a plus
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA or ACCA) is highly desirable
