Group Finance Manager - 12 month FTC

JSS Finance are partnered with a Global FMCG business who are looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their team on a 12-month FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor and develop direct reports to ensure a high-performance finance team
• Manage all aspects of groups financial accounting, period-end year and year-end close processes
• Compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings and internal audit requirements
• Lead the preparation and analysis of periodic management accounts, providing insightful commentary and variance analysis
• Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts
• Develop, monitor and manage the groups budget, forecasts and long-term financial plans
• Reviews period reporting pack prior to submission to group
• Drives process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations

Key Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge
• Displays in-depth understanding of consolidation and statutory reporting
• Knowledge of internal controls and risk management
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles
• Demonstrates ability to manage and develop a high-performance finance team
