Our client, a private equity backed hospitality group, is looking for a Group Finance Manager to join their team initially on a temporary basis with the potential to go permanent. The successful candidate will have significant experience in preparing financial and management accounts and speak fluent Italian or French as well as English. An immediate start is preferred.

Description

The responsibilities of the Group Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to:

• Accounting for the UK companies, including interest, expenses and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Payment of UK invoices and management of UK bank accounts.
• Managing payroll, VAT and other tax obligations.
• Liaising with auditors for UK tax compliance.
• Assistance with the Group budget process (modelling, support, presentation).
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for the UK entities.
• Maintenance of the UK management services agreement and recharges.
• Liaising with and management of loan requirements.
• Preparation of statutory accounts for the UK entities.
• Liaising with the auditors for the Group accounts and UK entities.
• Assistance with accounting system implementation (design, management, data input, testing).
• Maintenance of statutory books and records.
• Ad hoc projects and assistance as required.

Skills

The skills of the Group Finance Manager role include, but are not limited to:

• Previous relevant accounting experience, including management and statutory accounts.
• Fluent in English and either French or Italian (essential).
• Strong Excel and ERP systems.
