Group Financial Control Manager | Investment Management | 12 Month FTC | London | £90-120k doe

Investigo is partnering with a global investment manager looking for an experienced accountant to join the Control & Reporting team on an initial 12-month maternity cover contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end monthly financial close process, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate management accounts and compliance with internal control standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as fund accounting and operations to collect and verify financial data required for management, statutory, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure financial processes are robust, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and review key disclosures and notes for group-level financial statements, ensuring alignment with audit schedules and regulatory standards.
• Act as a primary point of contact for audit queries, supporting both internal and external audit engagements, and fostering effective collaboration across departments.

Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in financial control, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting. (ACA from top 10 practice is highly preferencial)
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting requirements within listed or regulated environments, such as asset management, private equity, or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex reporting cycles and interact confidently with senior stakeholders and auditors.
