Group Financial Controller
London – Hybrid (4 days in office)
£125,000 - £130,000 + Bonus and Benefits
Investigo are working with one of largest privately owned property developers and investors across the UK and Europe.
This is a newly created Group Financial Controller role that will work closely with the Finance Director and CFO in supporting key decisions and managing the team and processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the 100+ legal entities for the financial information and statutory reporting
- Drafting and submission of consolidation IFRS financial statements
- Lead on quarter-end and year-end processes and providing accurate management reporting and information packs
- Be instrumental in information for asset and corporate transactions including acquisitions and disposals
- Manage Group external audit and being key liaison with the auditors
- Manage the operational finance and group accounting teams
- Financial reporting including management information packs for use by Board and external stakeholders and investors
- Compliance responsibilities with relevant regulatory bodies and financiers
Must Have Requirements
- ACA/CA Qualified preferably from a Top 10 Audit training background
- Working knowledge within a business with a complex structure with multiple entities
- Proven people manager with working knowledge of direct people management in a non-practice environment
- Excellent IFRS technical experience
- Proven stakeholder management internally and externally
- Track record of adding value through process and people improvement in finance teams
