Group Financial Controller | High-Growth Scale-Up

Investigo are recruiting a Group Financial Controller to partner closely with the CFO and play a key role in scaling a fast-growing, multi-channel consumer business based in Peterborough.

This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for financial and management reporting, cash flow and working capital, audit and controls, and the day-to-day running of the finance function. You’ll lead a capable team (3 direct, 6 indirect reports) and take ownership of a new finance system implementation launching within the next six months.

What you’ll be driving

End-to-end ownership of monthly and statutory reporting
Strong financial controls, audit management, and compliance
Cash flow, working capital, and cost control across the group
Leadership, development, and performance of the finance team
Continuous improvement, automation, and scalable finance processes

What we’re looking for

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

Proven Financial Controller experience OR Group Finance manager looking to step up, ideally in a retail or multi-channel environment

Track record of delivering systems upgrades or finance transformation

Strong people leader with a hands-on, commercial mindset

Thrives in a fast-paced, change-led scale-up environment

Location: Full-time on-site, Peterborough
