As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Group Financial Planning and Analysis manager to join our Head Office, Cowick Hall in East Yorkshire.
You will be responsible for managing the timely delivery of specific areas of the Group's financial reporting (including cash flow) which includes providing detailed analysis of results and drafting commentary for the Board and Executive Committee. This will involve delivery of reporting on consolidated group results monthly, as well as for quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles. You will liaise closely with global counterparts to understand results and challenge where appropriate. You will also support in other ad hoc activities where required.
You will be responsible for driving the global consistency of financial reporting and accounting with specific responsibility for financial reporting areas including bonus and share based payments, combined with other areas linked to forecasting processes such as goodwill and other impairment reviews and going concern, as well as other ad hoc technical financial reporting areas as required.
You will also be a finance business partner for certain central functions as and when required, including developing and enhancing functional reporting over the medium term, and being part of monthly actual reporting, alongside forecasting and budgeting.

- You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of challenging and building strong working relationships throughout the business.
- You should also be able to adapt to the changing business needs and be able to prioritise key actions to positively impact on performance.
- You must be a quick thinker, with an analytical and commercial approach to problem solving.
- You will be an ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience working within practice and/or Plc environment who enjoys getting involved with technical accounting matters.
- Experience working within a manufacturing/industrial environment is desirable but not essential.
