THE TEAM

In 2019, GFG became a publicly listed company on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. It is proud to combine the best of the governance and transparency of a public company with the entrepreneurial and growth spirit of an exciting digital business operating in some of the world’s most dynamic markets.

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is a core part of the Group Finance team, based in London. We focus on articulating and analysing the Group’s business performance and future forecasts to the GFG Management and Supervisory Boards. We work closely with the FP&A teams based in Latin America, South East Asia and Australia, alongside the wider Group Finance, Tax and Treasury functions in London, Luxembourg and Germany.

As the Group matures, the Group FP&A function becomes ever more important in providing insight and analysis to support our fast growing business. As a result, we are looking for a Group FP&A Analyst to join the Group Finance team based in London on a permanent basis.

This role will report to the FP&A Finance Manager - Planning. You will be working closely with the regional FP&A Teams, Group Reporting Team, Group CFO & Management Board.

  • Provide critique and challenge to regional data - from both a financial and operational perspective
  • Support a project to move to more autonomous forecasting and reporting, leveraging AI and Automation
  • Process improvement projects, driving the development of OneStream functionality for FP&A, working closely with the Senior Finance Systems Analyst for technical support
  • Build strong relationships with regional teams to open up communication and trust, and share best practice.
  • Preparing the Group Annual Budget and Mid-Term Plan
  • Responsible for the delivery, analysis and presentation of the Group forecasting process
  • Be the custodian of a high level 5-10 year scenario model around the key drivers of the strategy that allows stress-testing and scenario modelling
  • Be proactive and own the forecast and planning elements of the FP&A roadmap, from idea to implementation
  • Ad hoc scenario/what if modelling

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Qualified accountant with a record of success within a fast moving, forward thinking listed company
  • A low-ego intellect who can quickly get to the heart of an issue and is comfortable communicating it clearly to peers and to senior management
  • Highly Analytical, able to draw conclusions from large data volumes at pace
  • Attention to detail; some of the outputs are shared externally so accuracy is key

  • Strong Excel skills with experience of a Global EPM tool (Onestream highly desirable, Hyperion/HFM)
  • Flexible attitude and ability to cope well with the demands of a rapidly growing company
  • A strong focus on delivery and the ability to own and implement the outcomes
