Eton Bridge Partners have been retained by a global facilities management company hiring for a Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Backed by private equity, our high growth client is looking for a talent who can work closely with colleagues in charge of Group performance reporting and Integration finance business partnering. This role will have responsibility for global FP&A capabilities while business partnering with functional Group overhead leads and regional CFOs.
Responsibilities:
Group FP&A:
- Partner with the Group Commercial Director and Group CFO to drive strategic financial decision-making, lead the annual budget process, and ensure strong forecasting discipline.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address deviations from budget early, optimizing overall financial performance.
- Oversee comprehensive business performance analysis, financial modelling, and forecasting, including special projects such as M&A and refinancing.
- Manage the Group Commercial Analyst and provide coverage for Group performance reporting when the primary reporting colleague is unavailable.
Group Overheads Finance Business Partner:
- Partner with Group functional overhead leads (IT, HR, Finance, Legal) to drive budgetary control, provide analytics and insights for cost efficiencies, and support delivery of departmental strategies from a finance perspective.
- Prepare monthly forecasts for Group overhead functions and provide coverage for Integration business partnering when the Integration Business Partner is unavailable.
Business Intelligence:
- Lead the Group’s data agenda by deploying best-practice BI dashboards in countries without existing solutions, and deliver actionable insights and analytics to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- ACA/ ACCA qualified accountant.
- Knows what good looks like in a scaled multinational in the areas of Group FP&A, Group overheads business partnering and Business Intelligence.
- Experience working in a PE-backed multinational Group, in corporate finance roles, with >10 years PQE.
- Solid background in M&A, Corporate Finance or Transaction Services.
- Managerial skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to create partnerships with senior stakeholders through strong EQ and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong Excel and modelling skills.
- Proficient in PowerBI.
