Title - Group HS&E Systems Lead

Location - National - Any GT Office

The HS&E Department ensures that the Group HS&E requirements of the BMS are legally compliant, provides HS&E support in the planning of HS&E and reviews and assures HS&E performance. Ensure the HS&E management system remains effective, compliant, and responsive to evolving business needs, enabling consistent and reliable assurance across the Group.

What you will be doing:

• Act as the operational lead for HS&E systems, providing strategic support to the Group HS&E Director by managing system performance, user feedback, and change requests.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to improve system functionality, structure, and integration, working closely with BMS Champions and wider business stakeholders.

Oversee the rollout and embedding of the new Divisional Operating Procedure (DOP) process within the BMS, ensuring operational consistency and alignment across the business.

Monitor and report on HS&E system performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Work collaboratively with the HS&E team and the Group Assurance and Audit Lead to maintain an up-to-date legal register and aspects & impacts register, ensuring both are aligned with current legislation and business operations, and support system updates that reflect evolving requirements.

About You:

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Experience in system change management and user training.
• Auditor training (or willingness to undertake).
• NEBOSH Certificate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in managing HS&E systems or similar platforms.
