Group Leader– Asset Management

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:


  • To ensure that project and department requirements are fully communicated to operations staff as directed by MTeQ leader.
  • Ensure operating practices within Renfrew Site Operational Areas are performed in accordance with designated safe systems of work including adherence to appropriate controls and procedures.
  • Line management of Machining and Technician Supervisors and all Senior Technicians
  • Lead the workflow and resources of the Renfrew Operations function of Asset

Management.

  • Lead the continued improvement of working practices within the Renfrew Operations site environments.
  • Lead the continued improvement of QHSE practices within the Renfrew Operations Site environments.
  • Lead the safe implementation of CapEx upgrades and modifications to Operational areas
  • Ensure continual adherence to safe systems of work and to prevent any work being
  • carried out within Renfrew Operations Site environments which is deemed not in-line with the standards expected.
  • Effectively handle all first line disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues.



Key Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

Apprenticeship with recognised qualification such as SVQ, ONC or City and Guilds in

Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

· Preferred Qualifications

Apprenticeship with an HNC Diploma in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering

· Experience

Time Served trade relevant to the position.
