Group Prudential Controller

Interim Opportunity – Group Prudential Controller - Fintech - £800-1000 p/d - 6-9 months -London

A leading financial services group is seeking an Interim Group Prudential Controller to join their senior leadership team. This is a high-profile role, owning prudential risk at Group level and acting as the primary point of contact with the FCA.

The role:

- Lead on all prudential risk, reporting and compliance matters under the MIFIDPRU regime.

- Provide strategic advice to Board and ExCo on capital, liquidity, and prudential implications of growth, new products and strategic projects.

- Own the ICARA process, capital forecasting, stress testing, and wind-down planning.

- Maintain and embed the Group’s prudential risk appetite framework.

- Lead engagement with regulators (FCA) on prudential matters.

Required background:

10–15+ years’ senior experience in prudential risk / regulatory reporting (banking or investment firms).

Deep knowledge of MIFIDPRU, IFPR, CRR, and FCA prudential rules.

Strong track record in ICARA delivery and capital/liquidity management.

Credible leadership and the ability to advise at Board level.

Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

This is a senior interim role with significant influence across the business and close interaction with regulators.
